Babies first teeth.

At 5 months and 2 days exactly Charles' first tooth cut through. I didn't even notice at first because he hadn't been acting up or changed his personality at all, he was just his normal happy self with a little tooth! I cried a little when I noticed it (has anybody else done that) and rang nearly everybody I knew to tell them. Yep I've turned into one of those Mums that tells everybody everything about their baby, but hey hes my pride and joy. So about a week after this tooth arrived its little friend joined him and his second tooth cut through as well. When he gives you that special little grin and those two little white nuggets are grinning back at you it really is the cutest thing. So to keep his two little white nuggets glowing I went and bought his first ever toothbrush and toothpaste! 10 Date Night ideas.

Through trying to keep our relationship strong Ben and I have been making date night a regular thing. We get a babysitter (normally one of our parents) and spend some time doing something together. We don't have a lot of money, we are getting married in October and babies are expensive (you don't need me to tell you that). Because of the lack of money we have always been very conscious of the little things in life, they are so much better than spending lots of money on something, as the saying goes 'money doesn't buy you happiness' and its true. Throughout both of my pregnancies I've found that there are certain things that have made my experience a lot easier. I have been really lucky to have two quite easy pregnancies, I love being pregnant but it is such a harrowing time on your body both physically and emotionally. That's why I thought I would share with you the things that I class as essentials, from the things you really should invest in to those that you deserve to treat yourself to. A good pair of maternity jeans. I have LIVED in my maternity jeans since I got pregnant with Charlie, two years on and I dread the day I won't be able to get away with wearing them. I love the over the bump pairs as I find they stay up a lot better and also don't bunch around the crotch. I've found that peoples opinions vary on which shops are better so I think its just a preference but I've found that H&M have the best pairs.
